MENTAL HEALTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, PHASE 1 FUNDAMENTALS OF OFFICE READINESS FOR MENTAL HEALTH POLICY COMPLIANCE

23 and 30 November 2020

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Philippine Standard Time

5 December 2020

2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Philippine Standard Time

Via ZOOM

This 3 day service program is perfect for individuals aspiring to become mental health practitioners and advocates in the workplace, or for employees assigned to manage office compliance to Mental Health Law and related state regulation(s). Curious individuals could also partake in this program, albeit it is much preferred that those with first hand experience on related issues are encouraged to participate.

The first module aims to develop leadership skills in crafting and delivering relevant action for compliance. In most cases, managers find compliance a difficult task to complete due to urgency for execution and lack of expertise on the subject matter. Thus, managers and staff could end up procrastinating or slowing down on execution due to cluelessness, or would rush up on certain decisions out of fear, anxiety or panic. Of course, we do not desire a compromise of decision making quality for the lack of information, guidance, support, and even affirmation. GOVERNOMETRICS is just a click away for partnering with anyone saddled on this challenging but worthwhile journey.

The leadership skills for basic policy and regulatory compliance bound for development in this phase of foundational training are as follows:

  • Competent knowledge
  • Resource inventory
  • Basic management
  • Information management
  • Application of select essential skills

The emphasis on certification is crucial. Participants have to be assessed for their awareness and understanding of what the compliance is for. This ensures that the message they will convey to their office is accurate and beneficial. They will receive an evaluation report of their level of mental health leadership skill and office readiness for mental health compliance.

At the end of the first phase of training, participants shall:

appreciate, interpret and make sense of their level of readiness
develop and map out office needs for compliance
identify future steps to leveling up their leadership skills

We guarantee that participants would be empowered to share their proposed action steps to their managers and work peers at the end of the Phase 1 of training.
