Governometrics Management Consultancy Services successfully organized its 1st Research Colloquium Series on 17 November 2021.  It was graced by Ato Tamrat Woldemariam Shalebo, a Senior Economist and University Lecturer, who presented preliminary outcome of the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Law in the southern region of Ethiopia.  Among other points raised, he contended the importance of public private partnership in strengthening policy implementation.

Anticipate the presentation of his subsequent study that cultivates a roadmap on enterprise development of an aspect of solid waste management program in the same region.  Expect his commitment to reach the depth, apply first hand the rigor of research in his chosen manuscript genre, and propound original, context driven, and quality research with thrust for regional economic development.  All of these are what a friendly, warm, intellectual, safe but quality-driven research colloquium is all about.

Governometrics is truly proud that the paper presenter himself was able to exemplify a young researcher’s leadership capability and originality under pressure.

The research colloquium was organized as a Preconference to the 2nd Advancements and Top of Mind International Conference or A.T.O.M.I.C. scheduled on 17-21 January 2021.  The conference bears the theme, “Human Significance. 2050: Accounting the Gains of 2021 for an Investible Future”.  The five day event affords participants and paper presenters a scholarly, safe and accessible venue to build, enlarge and upgrade capability in different areas of research, research management, and scientific committee work.

More importantly, however, it seeks to crystallize the global agenda of the first A.T.O.M.I.C., known as the Philippine Accord of 2020, into five conference thematic areas of inquiry.  These areas are as follows: 1) Assumptions and Limiting Beliefs of a Discipline as Affecting Practices and Vocations, vice versa, 2) Best Practices of the Public, Private and Voluntary Sectors, 3) Building a Stakeholder Society and 21st Century Virtue, 4) Intergenerational Equity and Leadership,  5) Cross cutting themes (Culture, Gender, Technology, Poverty, etc.).

Governometrics is among the fewest entities that was able to launch a successful international conference, with ISSN registered publication, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in December 2020.  Moreover, it was able to set up A.T.O.M.I.C. to stage an annual global agenda cascaded into its national and organizational activities.

The advocacy design of A.T.O.M.I.C. is part of the development cooperation project launched by the Founder, Dr. Liberty I. Nolasco, for which she currently serves as the Global Convener for Development Advocacy and Scientific Committee Works.

Dr. Nolasco works with the Governometrics Scientific Committee for the pre conference, conference proper, and post conference activities.  The Governometrics Scientific Committee is currently expanding its membership for the 2022 and 2023 programs of A.T.O.M.I.C..  Opportunities for publication in global conference proceedings and scientific journal, capability enlargement for its scientific activities via Governometrics Scientific Committee Cadetship program, and for strategic governance for research and institutional development via R.S.V.P. are offered as well.

A.T.O.M.I.C. serves presently as preferred executive solutions for thought leadership, futures thinking, research quality governance, data quality, content development, and scientific and rigorous praxis activities.  It maintains its development face for advocacy solutions for institutional, national and global development cooperation.  Sponsors are welcome to support its advocacy solutions.

Governometrics will soon introduce its newest thrust for A.T.O.M.I.C. to actively engage the youth in 2022.

Await the T.A.I.L..
